A |
A light bulb icon displays in this field if an exception has been noted in the line item. Mouse over the icon to view a tooltip that includes the audit exceptions. This requires that Accumark Advisor is enabled. |
N | A line that contains an N in this field indicates that the line contains notes. Right-click the line, and then select the Estimate Line Properties option. Estimate line notes appear in the Estimate Report. |
* |
* = This indicates that the line has been modified from the MOTOR database, or the line did not originate from the MOTOR database. |
O |
This indicates the line is Open when it is checked. An estimate that contains Open lines cannot be Locked. |
Est |
The value in this field identifies the supplement number of the estimate line appears. The number in this field is the number of the estimate that the line is from. This field cannot be edited |
Line |
This is the estimate line number. This number is calculated as you add lines to the estimate. This field cannot be edited. |
Oper |
The value in this field identifies the operation being performed for the part. This identifies the type of operation being performed. You have access to this field whenever you create or change a manual line only. Select an operation from the droplist. The operation you select will appear in the field. |
(blank field to the left of the Description field) |
This is a description prefix that describes the type of part that is not OEM. Valid values are: RECY, LKQ, USED, Quality Recy Parts, A/M, opt OEM, and RECOND. |
Description |
The is the description taken from the MOTOR, Tire, or Part Codes table. When entering a manual line, this field is a free form explanation of the operation being performed on the part that describes the repair process for the part. Any default information is taken from the database or from the part code table. This field can be edited. |

This is a description suffix field that describes the type of adjustment (e.g., betterment, markup, or discount). |
Qty |
This field allows you to designate the number of parts to be used. Enter the number of parts to be used. This field cannot be edited after the estimate has been Locked. |
Price |
The value in this field is the price of the part. Any default data in this field is taken from the database. You have access to this field whenever you create or change a non-automated line. You can accept the default price, or you can type in a new one. If you change the value to be different from the value in the database, the new value will be underlined here and on the printed estimate. |
Ext. Price |
This value represents the unit price multiplied by the quantity. |
(part charge category) |
To the right of the Ext. Price column is the charge category for the part type. Default is always blank for Standard, or else it is based on the Estimating rules for Reconditioned and Recored parts. You have access to this field whenever you create or change a non-automated line. |
(database charge category) |
This field displays the database component classification. This field cannot be edited. Valid values are: |
Labor |
This field contains the number of non-paint labor units (hours) associated with this line. Default information in this field comes from the database. You have access to this field whenever you create or change a non-automated line. You can accept the number that displays in this field, or you can change it. If you change the value to be different from the value in the database, the new value will be underlined here and on the printed estimate. |
(labor charge category) |
This field displays to the right of the Labor column. This is the labor charge category for the line. The default is blank for Body. Labor categories are predefined in the system. You can also predefine your own labor categories. The program automatically uses the labor type of the main (component) line for any dependent lines. You can leave the value that is displayed, or you can change it to another valid value. You have access to this field whenever you create or change a line. |
Paint |
This field contains the number of refinish hours for the part. Any defaulted data comes from the database. You have access to this field whenever you create or change a non-automated line. You can leave the value that is displayed here, or you can change it. If you change the value to be different from the value in the database, the new value will be underlined here and on the printed estimate. The program always takes applicable paint overlap. If you want zero paint hours, change the hours to .4 or .2 (depending on whether you are dealing with adjacent or non-adjacent overlap). |
